Interior Facades
Linoleum Reduction Print

During my recent trip to Cairo we were driving down a recently constructed highway and all along the highway were these buildings that were half torn to make way for the construction of the highway. What resulted was the interior finishes of the building became the exterior facade and so all along the highway you'd see bathroom tiles and bright pink and orange children's bedroom colors  contrasting the typical brick facades of the area.

This inspired me to create a series of prints documenting some of the ordinary building types in Cairo, and I wanted to gift you the first one in this series.
